Each puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 7 days of the purchase date and must have annual wellness exams (or more frequent visits as directed by a veterinarian). If a puppy/dog is not taken to a veterinarian as stated in this section and health care records cannot be provided, this health guarantee becomes null and void.
If a puppy dies or is diagnosed with an immediate life threatening defect from a hereditary or congenital condition up to 18 months from the date of its birth, we will:
a) replace your puppy as soon as one is available, or
b) refund 80% of the selling price
If a dog dies or is diagnosed with an immediate life threatening defect from a hereditary or congenital condition between 18 months and three (3) years from its date of birth, we will:
a) replace your dog as soon as one is available, or
b) refund 50% of the selling price
If a puppy/dog is diagnosed by your veterinarian to have a hereditary or congenital life threatening condition, we reserves the right to request a review and/or second opinion by the veterinarian of our choice to validate the diagnosis. This validation must be completed before this health guarantee will be honored.
Should the puppy/dog die prior to diagnosis, a full necropsy must be completed to confirm cause of death. If necropsy is not performed, this health guarantee becomes null and void.
** We are not responsible for any vet bills incurred by the Buyer at any time including the vet check or follow up vet check or diagnostics to determine a life threatening condition **
The Buyer must return the puppy/dog to us within 5 days of diagnosis if puppy/dog has an immediate life threatening hereditary or congenital defect.
Please note: Shipping costs for the return of a puppy/dog and for a replacement puppy will be at the Buyers expense. If the Buyer decides to keep the puppy/dog and not return the puppy despite the health issue/s then there will be no replacement or refund of any kind at any time.
Our health guarantee DOES NOT include the following common treatable or non-threatening conditions such as: fleas, ticks, common parasites, worms, skin problems, coccida, allergies, giardia, lymes, parvo virus, distemper, demodex, eye injuries, hip dysplasia, ulceration of the eye, breathing problems, death due to a vaccine or injection given to puppy/dog.
* This health guarantee is null and void if the puppy/dog is deemed by a veterinarian to be obese or malnourished.
Buyer should be fully aware of the health problems and shedding the pug breed can have. Pugs can have eye problems, immune problems, breathing problems and other conditions. Buyer fully acknowledges they are aware of the problems within the breed. We have made every effort to avoid any health problems within our line, but problems can arise even with the best of breeding’s.
