Health Guarantee
Seller guarantees that puppy/dog is in good health and has received his/her first vaccination (Parvo/Distemper) and has been wormed at least once. Seller will provide Buyer with a detailed health record listing all treatment puppy/dog has received under Seller’s care.
This puppy/dog has a three (3) year Health Guarantee from the date of birth against any immediate life threatening hereditary and congenital defects.
The Buyer agrees to have the puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within seven (7) days of the purchase date. At that time, if the veterinarian determines that the puppy/dog is not in good health, the Buyer can return the puppy/dog to the Seller for a full refund. The puppy/dog must be returned to the Seller within ten (10) days of the date noted on this Health Guarantee for a full refund.
The Buyer agrees to take this puppy/dog for annual wellness exams (or more frequent visits as directed by their licensed veterinarian) and understands that if the Buyer does not take the puppy/dog to a licensed veterinarian as stated in this section and cannot provide health care records, this health guarantee becomes null and void.
If puppy/dog is diagnosed with an immediate life-threatening defect up to eighteen (18) months from the date of its birth, the Seller will:
-
replace your puppy/dog as soon as one is available, or
-
refund 85% of the sales price (full refund less 15% administration fees)
If puppy/dog is diagnosed with an immediate life-threatening defect between eighteen (18) months and three (3) years from its date of birth, the Seller will:
-
replace your puppy/dog as soon as one is available, or
-
refund 75% of the selling price
If puppy/dog is diagnosed by your veterinarian to have a hereditary or congenital life-threatening condition, the Seller reserves the right to request a review and/or second opinion by a licensed veterinarian of their choice to validate the diagnosis. This validation must be completed before this health guarantee will be honoured.
In the event of an immediate life threatening hereditary or congenital defect, the Buyer agrees to return the puppy/dog to the Seller within fourteen (14) days of confirmed diagnosis. If the puppy/dog is not returned to the Seller within fourteen (14) days, this Health Guarantee becomes null and void.
If replacement of puppy/dog occurs, no further compensation may be sought from the Seller.
The Seller is not responsible for:
-
any vet bills incurred by the Buyer at any time including the vet check or follow up vet check or diagnostics to determine a life-threatening condition.
