About Cuddle Pugs
My first Pug was given to me by my oldest daughter Michelle at Christmas in 2004, it was very soft and cuddly, didn’t eliminate, didn’t require food and didn’t shed…it was a stuffed toy Pug. My family eluded that it was the perfect pet. I was very fond of Pugs so I kept the stuffed version on my bed by my pillow.
Situations change in life, as did mine. I re-married in March 2010 and my husband Art and I purchased our first Pug puppy, Emma, in December of 2010. It didn’t take long before Emma became the light of our lives and I quickly discovered the joy and entertainment a 'real live' Pug brings into a home far surpasses that of a stuffed animal. In short time, the toy on my bed was replaced with Emma and it wasn’t long before we purchased our second Pug, MCG’s Prince Henry. We were interested in seeing how Henry compared with other pug dogs so we entered him in his first conformation show. He was awarded Best of Breed and Winner’s Dog his first day in the ring. We were “pugged”. Our evolvement into breeding Pugs had begun and an amazing support network of dog fanciers came along side to help mentor us and we haven’t looked back.
Our love and passion for Pugs just keeps on growing. We have learned a lot on our journey into Pug breeding and look forward to continually learning and improving as time goes on.
