Our goal at Cuddle Pugs is to produce healthy, conformationally correct purebred dogs with sound temperaments.

We strive to perfect health and conformation in our lines. All of the dogs we breed are health tested and have their test results registered with OFFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals).  Most are CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) certified.  We also exhibit our dogs at conformation dog show events so they can be evaluated by conformation dog judges to ensure they meet breed standards.

 

Breeding is a labour of love but we truly love our dogs as pets first.  We breed first and foremost for our next show quality dog to enhance the future of our breeding program. Unfortunately, we cannot keep all of the puppies we produce so a lot of our puppies are placed in pet/companion homes.

 

It is always a good investment of time to learn as much as possible about the dog breed you are interested in before you decide on a dog and we encourage you to do this before you complete and submit an application.  We do have a lot of information on our website but there is also a vast amount of information available to you on-line and, as well, National Dog Breed Clubs are also a great resource.

We are members in good standing with the CKC (Canadian Kennel Club), the PCC (Pug Club of Canada, the PDCA (Pug Dog Club of America), the AMDCA (Appenzell Mountain Dog Club of America), the AKC FSS (American Kennel Club Foundation Stock Services), the UKC (United Kennel Club), the IABCA (International All Breed Club of America), and the FVDF (Fraser Valley Dog Fanciers) All-Breed Club.
